CIT Program Overview
The Addlestone STEAM Camp CIT program is designed to teach leadership, community and counseling skills to teenagers of the ages of 12-18 through hands on learning experiences. The CIT program contains opportunities to develop leadership skills through training, participating in leading/designing camp activities receiving instruction on conflict resolution and behavior management and supporting camp counselors. A successful participant will have shown themselves to be dedicated, hard-working, and enthusiastic.
Becoming a CIT is an experience very different from a camper. All accepted CITs are expected to:
There is a $100 fee per week for a CIT to attend camp. This fee is for lunch, snacks and program materials that they will get throughout the week.

- Undergo a “staff training” sessions
- Present themselves as role models to staff and campers.
- Be willing to participate fully in all the camp programs and activities and be a positive influence on the campers.
- Work cooperatively with the camp and staff to provide the best possible environment.
- Be present and punctual everyday while presenting yourself in a positive manner.
